Sacred Ibis / Biscayne Bay

I was somewhat surprised to see a group of 3 Sacred Ibis today, in flight over Biscayne Bay between Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. (I was in a boat about 3 miles or so south of the Rickenbacker Causeway. I think I'd read a few months back that they'd been reported breeding in South Florida (not good news, from what I understand).
