Well, I've seen some horseflies as big as birds at Royal Palm .
Are they countable at that size?
Oh, and after one of them flew into my car on Research road on Tuesday and made me squeal like a little girl, the Brown crested flycatcher popped up and whitted at me!! It was singing a song that sounded like laughter and ending in a "whit".
Really.
It is still there.
