I totally forgot to mention the catbirds. They were EVERYWHERE in the cypress swamp area.
Yesterday on the canal that borders the south side of Green Cay on Hagen Ranch there were over 250 Wood Storks. I have never seen that many there before but they were in a mixed flock with Limpkins and Snowy Egrets. They weren't in the water, just on the upper banks.
