The owls are in the south side of Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. After entering the park proceed south a short distance to a left hand turn just past the soccer field. Follow this road to the east then to the north.(You'll be on the road that connects the south and north sides of the park.) The burrow is located on the left a short distance before you reach the Sample Road/Turnpike overpass. It is under a metal utility type box, marked with yellow caution tape and a "nesting site" sign. If you don't park right on top of them and walk up slowly they are very approachable. We were about 20 feet away. If they're visible when you visit, and hopefully they will be, you'll have a great photo op. If these directions don't make any sense please e-mail me. I'll try to explain better. Enjoy!
