Although we got a bit of a late start this morning, the day was beautiful and the Everglades did not dissapoint us. We met up with Trey and enjoyed a great day observing various beautiful birds and wildlife throughout ENP.

Today we added a new county bird (Carolina Wren) , a year bird (FOS Red-eyed Vireo) and a lifer Ruby-crowned Kinglet finally after several seasons searching for one. At Mahogany we also saw a beautiful Magnolia Warbler. And the occasional Swallow-tailed Kite flyovers throughout the park were absolutely stunning as always.

It was great to unexpectedly bump into the familiar faces of Tricia and then Paul B. Also it was nice to meet Judd, Carl & Mark as well as see Kevin again. Actually today is the first time we bump into more local birders in ENP than we ever have before without planning to meet up. Which was definitely cool!

We are happy that Spring is here and we were able to enjoy another great day outdoors with friends birding!

Nature is Awesome!
Angel & Mariel
