I am new at this so please forgive my ignorance. I have been seeing a small gray bird with a beautiful yellow chest. I thought at first it was a sparrow. Can you tell me what it is called? Also, I have spotted a red bird, not a cardinal very briefly, a couple of times. I saw the sighting of the rare cardinal in the SunSentinel and did not know if this was related. Thanks very much and how do I join any of the audobon societies?
