Hi Larry,
That is super that you found the bird again. It was lucky that when I saw the bird on the 14th, I happened to have the National Geographic Field Guide - 4th edition- with me which did depict a Loggerhead Kingbird on p. 300. But since I had also never seen a Gray Kingbird, I couldn't be sure of the difference. Still haven't seen a Gray Kingbird!
