I went to Matheson hoping that some of the birds headed north would stop there, but I saw little. I did find Lilac-crowned Parrots, Hill Myna, Mitred Parakeets, Gray Catbird and two Swallow Tailed Kites. There are many fruiting trees and shrubs ready for migrants. So I will keep looking for another week or so before I begin to discuss how good migration is this year!
