Today I went birding for a while and I found a purple martin nest box in someones house with a piar of purple martins nesting on it. Also I'm 85% sure I saw a rose-breasted grosbeek. I identified by the red patch on its breast. I saw a pair of those. I also saw:

Mourning Doves-25
Blue Jays-10
Northern Mockingbirds-6
Starlings-10
Cardinals-5
Grey Caabirds-25
Rose breasted Grosbeeks- first two in my life.
Cape-May Warbler-First 2
Prairie warbler-2
Boat-talied grackle-7
Black Vultures-10
Downy Woodpecker-1
Red-bellied woodpecker-6
White-winged parakeet-6
Spot-breasted Oriole-3
After that I went to west Miami and saw:
Turtle dove-30
Common Nighthawk-16
Cardinals-2
Northern Mockingbird-6
Common Grackle-10

I have another question: I saw many lines of small holes in a tree. I know its a woopecker but don't know what species. hey thanks Alex for corresponding to all my questions. I'm just a begginer( I'm 13) please reply
