You need "A Birder's Guide to the Bahama Islands" by Tony White, available from the American Birding Association. His Cat Island chapter (pages 127-135) states that the island isn't birded often. Though the book was published in 1998, I suspect that the situation hasn't changed that much.

Following are some of the birds that can be found on Cat Island: Least Grebe, White-tailed Tropicbird, Neotropic Cormorant, West Indian Whistling Duck, White-cheeked Pintail, White-crowned Pigeon, Zenaida Dove, Key West Quail-Dove, Mangrove Cuckoo, Smooth-billed Ani, Antillean Nighthawk, Red-legged Thrush, Bahama Mockingbird, Thick-billed Vireo, Black-whiskered Vireo, Bahama Yellowthroat, Bananaquit, Western Spindalis, Black-faced Grassquit and Greater Antillean Bullfinch.
