Family members report to me that a female panther with sub-adult was sighted near the intersection of DeSoto Blvd with Alligator Alley last week. About ten days before that a lone male panther was sighted in the same area. None of these animals was collared.

Animal tagged FP 160 was darted drugged and fell from the tree on to a bee hive. The scientists estimate the unconscious animal was stung over 100 times several on the eyeball and under the lids.
