Jody and I spotted 13 Swallow-tailed Kites today around 11:30 am between Nine Mile Pond and Flamingo. We also spotted one Swallow-tailed Kite around 2:00 pm circling over the Royal Palm Visitor Center parking lot. We saw another one at 3:15 pm over the road leading from the main road to the RPVC. I'm going to be conservative and say it was the same one we saw earlier.
