There is a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers which appear to be nesting close to the Main Park Road across from the Visitor Center parking lot in Flamingo. I did not see them early on my Bird Walk this morning but one was in the hole peeking out on my return this morning about 10am. Also - a visitor reported a Yellow-breasted Chat and 1st year male Orchard Oriole in the A Loop of the campground yesterday. I haven't seen the Chat but I did see a 1st year male Orchard Oriole several weeks ago. The numerous pairs of Osprey are working hard training their young all around the Flamingo area.
