Jeanette and I headed out to Card Sound Road early this morning to watch the Brants foraging on the mudflat along with Royal and Caspian Tern, Laughing Gull, White Pelicans and an unidentifiable peep. (We didn't have a scope.) Other birds of interest spotted in this area, and before and after the bridge were ....

Spotted Sandpiper (2)
Ruddy Turnstone (12)
Great Blue Heron (Dark and White Morph)
Palm Warbler
Brown-headed Cowbird
Red-winged Blackbird (lots)
Belted Kingfisher
Osprey
Anhinga
Double-crested Cormorant
White Ibis
American Kestral

and 2 Dolphin (mammal, of course, not bird or fish)
