Robin,
I spotted a Merlin on the south side of the road past the City of Miami toll booth on 2/28/08. I am assuming this is also part of the mitigation area with the new mangrove plantings. No Great Black Hawk though! Sigh!! I did see a Spotted Sandpiper hiding in the jetty by the playground.
