The warblers have invaded Merritt Island. At "Hammoock Trail" 2 mile loop inside Merritt Island N.W.R. Four hours yielded: Yellow-throated(3),Yellow-rumped(50+),Black-throated Green(2),Black & White(4),Parula,Pine(2)and Palm Warblers. With this large flock of Warblers was Ruby-Crowned Kinglet(m&fe) and several local White-eyed Vireos. The local Cardinals were going wild as the cold morning had the Warblers in a feeding frenzy eating the caterpillars that were out to get the morning sun.
