: I was working on my deck this afternoon, and I stopped for a cold one. I was sitting there watching my Purple martins when they all took off and out of nowhere there it was so beautiful. They have been coming around for at least 5 or 6 yrs now. This was the first this year. They have nested in the pines behind my neighbors house. So we will hope they will this year again.
