Today in Cape Florida there were 11 Northern Parulas in a Pigeon Plum and adjacent Privet bush. The first mini-wave of warblers was 2/7 with Prairies, Common Yellowthroats and parulas, plus a male Cape May.
This is a normal pattern for Cape Florida -- a mini-wave at the beginning of February, followed by small flocks of earlier migrants at the end of the month.
