While out surveying for RCWs I flushed my first Big C Woodcock on Thursday and first one for Florida.
Also saw a couple hundred White Ibis flying in a disarray on Tamiami and 29 a couple weeks back and decided to check out what was causing this. Obviously somebody was hungry but I didn't think I would find such diversity. Looked up and saw two Bald Eagles (most likely the breeding pair form Fakahatchee),a Northern Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, and Red-shouldered Hawk. All in the same airspace. Not too shabby.
