While on our other trips to the area in search of the Bananaquit we spotted some other cool birds around the area that the bird is being seen at. We met lots of people from all over that were also looking for the bird. Jody
from New York was awesome, also birders from
N. Florida, South and North Carolina, Georgia, and others states. It was nice to see so many birders looking for this beautiful bird.
Birds that were seen in the vicinity were:
Painted Bunting (M&F)
N. Cardinal
Blue Jay
Cape May Warbler
Palm Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
A. Kestrel
Coopers Hawk
Turkey & Black Vulture
Great Blue Heron
Cattle Egret
Ring-Billed Gull
Laughing Gull
Catbird
Boat-tailed Grackle
Common Grackle
European Starling
Nature is Awesome
