Hello. My kind supervisor took pity on my birding soul and let me have an unprecedented day off of work during the month of Feb. to go in search of the Bananaquit... The bird was first heard/seen @ 0815 this morning in front of 1050 N. Southlake Drive - listen for the ""metallic call note", somewhat similar to a Palm Warbler... What a great bird! Thanks to everyone who posted sightings. John
