wanting to enjoy again the wonderful walk i did last saturday with TAS group, imagine my delight when two giant parrots, blue and gold macaws, escapes, no doubt, landed in a tree near the matheson hammock sign on old colony road, sqawking away. the stayed for quite a while, and then flew off. this was about 9:30am.

when returning from the walk, about 11:15am, we saw them again, same area, flying and sqawking, directly overhead.

also seen: hill mynahs, worm-eating warbler, blu-headed vireo, and a common yellowthroat.
