I was at Green Cay about 07:30 this morning with Ma in her wheelchair. We saw two baby limpkins and one of their parents not far from the first gazebo, on the boardwalk to the left, as you enter the visitor's center.

We also had a "shy and elusive" limpkin land on the boardwalk handle rail, and then stroll within five feet of us when a wayward, Walkman entranced exerciser, mindlessly scared it off.

The lady, to her credit, did however smile and say, "good morning."

At this point I am waiting impatiently for summer's gift of torpor and sopping humidity.
