I visited Tree Tops (nice Broadwing Hawk by the tower), wetlands behind Target and the new wetlands on the corner of Sheridan St. and Pine Island Rd. last Saturday. The numerous ducks I had observed on the CBC were gone. I did observe 2 Lesser Scaups and 8-10 Hooded Mergansers, but that was it. It seems early to me for the ducks to have headed north, but who knows anymore.
