Always good to hear there are a few other birding yakkers. There are only a handful of us down here (Susan, Hawker, and Roger Hammer included), from what I can tell.
Regarding Flamingos, you should have been down here in the mid-'90s, when they were so thick you had to build a campfire to keep them at bay!
