Yesterday, we were unable to find any warblers at Matheson Hammock. As a result, I almost didn't go to Barnes this morning. Although there were not a lot of warblers at Barnes (12-15 individuals, 6 species), any day you see a male Hooded Warbler is a good day!

I recorded 34 species. Here's the list:

Cattle Egret
Turkey Vulture
Muscovy Duck
Red-shouldered Hawk
Broad-winged Hawk
Common Moorhen
American Coot
Killdeer (heard)
Rock Dove
Eurasian Collared-Dove
Mourning Dove
Monk Parakeet
Yellow-chevroned Parakeet
Chimney Swift
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Great Crested Flycatcher
Blue-headed Vireo
Blue Jay
Fish Crow
Purple Martin
House Wren (singing)
Gray Catbird
Northern Mockingbird
European Starling
Cedar Waxwing
Black-throated Blue Warbler (singing)
Yellow-throated Warbler (singing)
Pine Warbler (singing)
Prairie Warbler (singing)
American Redstart (male and female)
Hooded Warbler (male)
Northern Cardinal
Boat-tailed Grackle
Spot-breasted Oriole
