Ok I was on my way home today from Homestead to Key Largo, scanning as I usally do the water areas on U.S. 1. I saw one spot with a large white bird floating on the water. I didn't know what it was and couldn't stop to check and it was some distance out. But when I got about a mile down the road in anothere area I spotted about 12 more in one spot. I whent down to manatee bay marina and turned around to try to get a better look. When i got back to the area they already took flight. One stayed behind and was to faraway to get a photo. But when I got back in my truck one flew right overhead but i had already put my camra back in its bag. Well maybe next time i can get a photo.
