It's been months since the Anis were reported from the airport area. The last sighting that I'm aware of was on the 12/16/07 Ft. Lauderdale CBC south of Old Griffin Road when two adults and two immatures were seen.
From I-95 take Griffin Road east a short distance and turn right onto Old Griffin Road before reaching the bridge. The Anis were seen around the 800 block in the vacant land south and east of the large gray building east to where the high power lines cross Old Griffin Road. This is in a high crime neighborhood so be careful, don t get out of your car unless you have to and if you do be sure to lock it watch your back.
