10 AM at Loxahatchee today there was a dark-morph Short-tailed Hawk sitting in a tree by the toll booth. I feel bad for those who don't stop to pay the fee, look what they are missing! It was later sighted by myself again, flying high over the cells closest to the roads east. Also around were a young Bald Eagle, a Wilson's Snipe, and a Blue-headed Vireo among gnatcatcher and warbler flocks.

One Sora was present at Green Cay, as were two Lesser Yellowlegs.

At Boynton, the friendlist turnstones in the world were present in great numbers, with smaller numbers of Black-bellied Plover Sanderling, Great Black-backed Gull, Royal Tern, a small Sterna tern, and about three Northern Gannets diving practically under the bridge, forced in by the winds.

Good birding!
Brendan
