Hi everyone,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We have been out of the loop for a while and have so much to report. We have been working hard and birding even harder when given the chance. We took advantage of our Holiday vacation to bird as much as possible visiting New Smyrna, Merritt Island Refuge, Viera Wetlands, Snake Warrior's Island, 800 Building area looking for the Ani, ENP, Redlands area, Cutler Wetlands, and also all the areas that were covered during the CBCs that we participated in. We birded some other spots as well.

This Sunday we birded Cutler, Dump Marsh and surrounding areas then made our way to the Redlands area where we ran into this amazingly beautiful Scissor-tailed Flycatcher the was so cooperative letting us take some nice photos.
Here is to an Amazing 2008 birding year and let the migration gods blow over some really cool birds this way. A couple of vagrants wont hurt either. Good Luck to all in their birding adventures as well as their personal ventures.

Nature is Awesome!
Angel & Mariel
