Nashville Warbler @ University of Miami

A Nashville Warbler was found yesterday on the campus of the University of Miami by the team covering this area for the Kendall CBC. The Nashville was seen along the canal that bisects the campus, near is southern end where it meets Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

Other areas covered included AD Barnes Park, Pinewood Cemetery and the neighborhood across from Baptist Hospital. Fourteen warbler species were seen: Orange-crowned, Nashville, Magnolia, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green, Yellow-throated, Pine, Prairie, Palm, American Redstart, Ovenbird and Common Yellowthroat. Other notable species included Short-tailed Hawk, White-crowned Pigeon, Monk, Red-masked, Mitred and Yellow-chevroned Parakeets, Red-whiskered Bulbul and Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
