The Great Cormorant was first seen during the morning on Sunday the 16th and then again on the 18th late in the afternoon so it can be there any time of day but the light is best during the late afternoon. Last year when what may have been the same bird was visiting the same channel marker it would feed within a quarter mile of the channel and return to #5 to rest.
