Here is what a real Zenaida Dove looks like, this photo was taken on Montserrat. The birds there are a little more colorful than the Bahamian birds. Check out the shape of the Zenaida Dove, it is much more like the shape of a White-winged Dove, but; with similar markings to a Mourning Dove. Once you see a real Zenaida Dove, you will not mistake it for a Mourning Dove, it is a different bird.
