I will conducting an Advanced Birding Class at the Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale on 1/5/08 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Topics covered will be birding by ear which advanced birders use for 70% of identification and location of birds. Also seasonality will be covered to help birders determine what birds are likely to found and what time of year. Numerous handouts are given out and strategies discussed that will increase your ability to identify and find birds. Cost is $15 and includes admission to the garden which I believe is $15.
