PLEASE NOTE! The bird that I observed had a complete uniform Tawny head, throat and under belly. No variation in color. It had a bright white undertail and No white on the wings in flight. It also had white on the upper tail versus a black tail. I call that a Fulvous Whistling Duck. For those who have been here for along time Loxahachee had always been the place to find them historically which is not far from this wetland. The staff member who walked with us to show us where the Bufflehead had been seen stated that it had not been seen before, I took his word for it.
