There was one bird around the fishing pier in Oleta River Park. I watched it for 15 minutes before it flew when a fisherman cast his line too close. It flew in the direction of the Ocean. It had the thinner bill with a slightly elongated slighty decurved tip to it's bill and did the characterist lowering of the head (described in Sibley's)as it took flight. Just saw a few dozen of them back home last week on Lake Ontario.
