Jeff,

Come on. Can't you imagine the excitement and thrill of the chase to have this magnificent bird on your forearm, standing there in all it's majectic splendor, the early morning sun behind you, the beach in front of you. You scan, you spot, you and your hawk are so in tune that he also reacts before you even say anything. Both your postures change; you lean forward, bend your kees slightly, spread your wings (the hawk, not you). There! You're ready, you give the signal, the hawk takes off with lightning speed. He banks, turns, beats his wings to gain altitude, first pass: a miss. He gives off a high-pitched shrill, goes for another pass. A kill! He comes back, a proud as any bird of pray, but not as proud as you are, as your beautiful, magnificent, and truly powerful hawk deposits in your hand - a crab. You have much to learn about the little things in life, Jeff.
