Good evening all,
The AOU recently split off the Cuban subspecies of the Great Black-Hawk into a separate species, the Cuban Black-Hawk (Buteogallus gundlachii).
To my knowledge only one Miami-Dade black-hawk has been photographed and that was a juvenile in 1975, of which the identity was never resolved.
