Robin at Green Cay: Wakodahatchee jumping

A Robin made apeearances at Green Cay this morning. A bufflehead was reported but I did not sight it.

Otherwise pretty quiet.

Wakodahatchee: 7 pairs of GBheron are stick passing and nest building. Anhinga nests are about finished and green back herons are paired off and nest building. Note to photographers; these nests sre open, obvious and well situated for sunlight. Wakodahatchee is the place to be for photographers.

AND.....snowy egrets are beginning to nest build also.

The 8 foot alligator just bides its time. Soon enough the baby birds will fall into the water. What a beauty of a reptile. This one is big. Some blue winged teals came in and the ring necked ducks at exit 81 now are over a 100 in number. We stopped to check for other ducks but the construction workers looked cranky
