Nice photo.
Going entirely by the illustration in "Handbook of Birds of the World," -- I have zero experience with the species -- the bird isn't a very good fit for the Rosy-billed Pochard (the bill especially seems too long and narrow, and lacks the black tip), but nothing else even comes close. So I guess that's what it is -- maybe the illustration in HBW is way off.
First verifiable Florida record, by the way.
