After I took some friends kayaking at 9-Mile Pond we decided since we were three-fourths the way there, to continue on to Flamingo. We hit Eco Pond right at sundown, but we managed to observe 4 Black-necked Stilts with some female Blue-winged Teal. Shortly thereafter, 2 large flocks of White Ibis flew so close to us & over the pond, we could hear their wingbeats. A very impressive display to close out the evening.
