I got all my scissors with me!!
(feel free to sing along)

Happy that the scissortails have returned, Julie and I ran out to 312 and 217 this morning to see if we could find them.
The first pass at 730 came up empty save for a Coopers/Sharpie (my vote says sharpie because the legs were supermodel skinny)on the new Lennar "we destroy habitat" fence.
So we continued on down to the Annex after first stopping to watch more than 10 sandhills fly in to the Lucky Hammock field.
The Annnex was relatively active with Northern Parulas,Palms,BGGs,common yellow throats,a yellow throated warbler, white eyed vireo, black and white warbler, a possible tennessee, and a lone cape may warbler.
Also sighted were "Georgia" Roy B. , back home for a brief stop before returning to Georgia and his new Grandbaby. Jeff W waved as he passed us too.
We headed back up to 312 and found a deeply colored western kingbird (fots) perched on the wires.
As we were admiring him David S. stopped by for a look.
Just down the street David pointed to 3 scissortails perched on the fence. There were also several on the wires and another western kingbird in a mango tree.
Not a bad morning.
Now we need the White tailed kite to reappear :)
