Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Brown-headed Nuthatch and Bachman's Sparrow are all resident at Babcock-Webb WMA. The sparrow can be hard to find, though, outside the breeding season, when singing birds are more conspicuous. On the TAS trip to Ft. DeSoto last April, we found all three species at Babcock-Webb, near the RCW sign on Oil Well Grade.
