Went to Crandon yesterday to pick up my 2nd and 3rd Gannets I have ever seen. Not alot of bird action, but a couple of juvenile herrings and black-backed gulls are still around. Do any other birds have a black and white checkered undertail like the mangrove cuckoo? I saw a bird, but only the tail. It was in a tall tree near the mangroves in my park. If so, this will be my first mangrove cuckoo. It stayed silent, and did'nt move at all. I'm definetally thinking mangrove cuckoo.
Anyone go on the TAS Grand Bahama trip? If so, I'm dying to know how it was.
