I just read the feeding tips. I like the hummzinger feeders. What I do is have an extra or 2, so I can wash and soak the alternate in warm soapy water ( use mild dish detergent, like Dawn).
Also, I wanted to mention that I actually use oriole feeders ( they are, of course, orange). The SB orioles kept feeding off the hummer feeders and spilling all the sugar water ( which, they also love).
However, if you do order one, DONT get the saucer style. It would seem that our SB orioles are not the brightest and CANNOT figure these out! So, I have the "bottle" style.
