Hi everyone!
I'm a Montreal birder going to Treasure Island for my third winter. I just go bird-crazy when birding in Florida. What I appreciate the most is the closeness I can get to your birds compared to ours....and your beautiful parks naturally.
I'm preparing my trip and making a list of the lifers I still miss. If someone could tell me where I could see them, it would be greatly appreciated. I spend most of my time in Pinella and Sarasota Counties but I could go farther if necessary.
Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Black-necked Stilt, Crested Caracara, Brown-headed Nuthatch, Carolina Chickadee, Swallow-tailed Kyte, White-tailed Kyte, Seaside Sparrow, Backman's Sparrow, Stripe-headed Spindalis, Spot-breasted Oriole.
Thanks a lot to those who will help me find those beautiful birds.
