The Spring migration is coming to a close but still the painted buntings linger. And one of the last was photographed at Okeeheelee last week by Carol. This outstanding pictures shows all the beauty of this little creature. Perhaps it's only fitting that we get a winter look...what would we do if these creatures lived with us all year around. As the photo gods would have it, my flash didn't work so well, nor did Ellie's so our "group" only can show this result and several others to be posted later. (See Okeeheelee post below)
We couldn't let Spring end without this splash of color. As Paul B would say.."Life is good.."
