Green Cay class act - Wakodahatchee not ready

A quick trip to Green Cay this early cool morning produced this hawk (unknown ident?) sitting quietly waiting for some coots to break cover. Very obliging critter. A name would be appreciated.

The bobcat is being seen regularly now. The last location was toward the Northeast corner.

Ring necked duck numbers are growing at the Exit 81 turnpike (Atlantic Blvd-Boynton)retainage basis. There was about 100 there today. This is an annual event for these birds.

Wakodahatchee is not ready for prime time yet. Unless you are in to alligators. There was one "burst" of black and white warblers mixed in with palm. Otherwise, not quite ready for prime time, yet.
