Black-hooded Parakeets are seen daily around Driftwood Middle School(2 streets north of Sheridan St and 1 mile east of University Dr. in west Hollywood)) on the wires on 70th Terrace on the west side of the school along the cemetary and playfield. I usually seem them after 4-5 p.m. Just in last 2 weeks I have seen them earlier near the school parking lot. Check the feeders in the nearby neighborhood also. FYI drive past University Dr. on Sheridan St. to Brian Piccolo Park (about 1 mile and half). It has one the best and most easily visible populations of Burrowing Owls in the area. Also just before you reach the park there is a new migitation area in the destroyed habitat of an old farm field. It might bring something interesting.
Good Luck Birding
