A very productive day for the photo jaunt. We saw and photographed painted buntings, male and female, brown thrasher, catbirds, cardinals, and a first: indigo bunting. The buntings came and went (scattered often by the squirrels) in gay and colorful profusion. If you haven't been, see this place in the middle of a golf course. It is on forest Hill Blvd, rigght by the turnpike. No exit there however, use Lake Worth exit if you are coming form the south. Then go north on Jog road (same road that takes you past Wakodahatchee miles to the south). Where Jog crosses Forest Hill, go west until you see the entrance to the golf course, then follow the signs. We viewed Buntings from 7:45 to almost 11:30. They have little fear, except from the squirrels.
